If you are looking for perfect chocolate box cottage in a sought after location with mature gardens and plenty of character, then look no further. Located in the popular village of Wadhurst & set back from the road, as you pull up onto the driveway, you will be taken back by this wonderful cottage and its gardens. Open the gate and approach this countryside home using the pretty pathway. Step through the original front door and into the hallway, where you start to get a sense of the character here - it's breath taking. Picture yourself in the winter months, snuggled up in front of a roaring fire in the wood burning stove, under the original beams. The kitchen/diner offers so much space and oozes even more character, from the beams to the original brick flooring. The current owner has updated the kitchen fittings but has worked hard to keep it in context of this lovely building - it’s fantastic. This room has plenty of space to entertain friends and family, with the chance to extend your summer gathering into the stunning gardens, overlooking the pond where you will be surrounded by peace and quiet. The current owner has spent a lot of time and money on creating the beautiful garden that wraps all the way round this lovely home. Those of you who are keen gardeners will have a field day as it has so much to offer you, and is secluded and sheltered. Viewings are strongly advised to fully appreciate the sought after location, character and gardens of this property.

What the Owner says:

I have thoroughly enjoyed living here, it is a joy being surrounded by the beautiful character in my home. I have updated parts of the property, including recently retiling the bathroom, but maintained the character too, and making sure to keep lots of original features. It’s very quiet and peaceful here. The location itself is great. Everyone here is so friendly there is a real sense of community. I will be very sad to leave my home as I love it so much. I am only moving to downsize but staying within the local area. I hope the new owners love it as much as I do.
