Full description

Tenure: Freehold

This lovely house has a really homely feel to it from the moment you walk through the door. Nicely tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, a footpath leads to the front of the house whilst vehicular access is to the rear.

The house has been well maintained by the current owners who have refurbished the bathroom and replaced the boiler in recent years together with other general improvements. Its light and airy feel is sure to appeal.

Situated on a corner plot, the attractive gardens sweep round the house. As well as the garage to the rear, there are garden sheds which blend well into their environment and offer a really good amount of outside storage.

You're sure to appreciate the peace and quiet of the surroundings and yet the village High Street is within easy reach. Cranleigh has much to offer including a great range of shops and restaurants together with amenities such as a leisure centre, medical centre, sports ground, library and even a dedicated arts centre. For those who love the great outdoors, the picturesque Surrey Hills are within a few minutes drive and the Downs Link runs through the village, all of which provide the opportunity to take advantage of the beautiful surrounding countryside either on foot or by bike.

Guildford is only 8 miles away and has excellent shops, amenities and a mainline station with links to the London and the coast.

What the Owner says:

The fact that we've lived here for well over 20 years just goes to show how happy we've been here all that time. We fell in love with our home as soon as we walked in to the large and welcoming entrance hall and saw how bright and spacious the house was.

We have done much to improve our home over the years including replacing the windows and having French doors fitted in the dining room which we can open up in the summer and walk directly into our lovely gardens.

We've often thought we'd like to retire to a smaller place on the coast and now's the time - but we'll certainly miss our home here in Cranleigh.
