What makes this property so special?
Located on the outskirts of the popular village of Snitterfield, Midwinter Cottage is a quaint, terraced cottage originally built around the 1880s. It has been extended and updated and is fully double glazed throughout and has a modern and contemporary feel but still retains many charming period features.
The dining room is accessed via the wooden front door and has a cast iron log burner set into the fireplace, wooden-style flooring and built-in storage to one side. This room has a myriad of uses - not only a dining room but perhaps another sitting room or a reception hall.
The sitting room has a feature fireplace with a cast iron log burner to cosy up to on colder evenings. It is an attractive light and airy room and is adjacent to a small study.
To the rear is a newly refurbished kitchen/breakfast room. There is a range of Shaker-style wall and floor units with butcher's block work surfaces, an integrated Zanussi oven and a five ring gas hob and cooker hood. There is a breakfast bar for informal dining. Further integrated appliances include a washing machine, slim-line dishwasher and a wine cooler. A stable door takes you out to the rear terrace and the garden beyond.
On the first floor are two double bedrooms, one with built-in wardrobes and both with lovely views over open fields. The family bathroom has been beautifully refurbished and appointed with a tiled floor and under-floor heating.
Accessed via a path that runs along the rear of these terraced homes and alongside a neighbouring garden, you enter a large enclosed lawned garden via a wooden gate. Towards the bottom of the garden is a further lawned area marked by a picket fence and a shed.
