Vendor Insight - The property has many beautiful features. What initially attracted me was the open field and how much space surrounds the property. I can walk my dog along the footpath that leads to the nearby Stanwick Lakes, says Maxine. There have been a number of renovations done during my 8 years living at the property. This includes a new bathroom, garage doors and a gas boiler which was fitted 15 months ago. Also, the garden has been restocked as well as a new rear fence fitted. There is ample space for cars to park, Maxine continues. The location is great with quite a few primary and secondary schools located locally, including the Windmill Primary School. For shopping needs, there are a few supermarkets situated near the roundabout which is a 10-minute drive away. The closest station is Bedford station which is around 5 and a half miles from the property. For local produces, there is a market on Raunds Square which is about half a mile away great for fruit, meat and vegetable produce, concludes Maxine.
Without a doubt, my favourite room has to be the lounge/diner, decorated with French windows looking out onto the garden. It really is breathtaking.
The beautiful garden is full of colour and you might even see some wildlife. There is also a cornfield full of barley which can be seen from the garden.
The property is great for entertaining. We have had Barbecues as well as Christmas and New Years parties, catering to over 30 guests. We have made so many fun memories over the years. I will miss everything. We have made wonderful memories and raised two children here. The property would be ideal for someone who has a dog or a growing family as it is quiet and has plenty of space. We are moving to be closer to our son, but will miss this property that we have called home for many years.

Location - Raunds is a small yet vibrant market town in east Northamptonshire, which still boasts a market with market day being every Friday on the Town square. It has a selection of shops and public houses and is within five miles of Wellingborough for further amenities. Stanwick Lakes are within walking distance for walking and cycling etc. Primary schooling is available in Raunds and secondary schools are in Raunds, Kettering and Wellingborough. Private schools locally include the preparatory schools at Spratton, Maidwell and Pitsford and public schools at Wellingborough and Oundle. There is also the Northampton School for Girls and Kimbolton School in Bedfordshire.
Communications are excellent with easy access to A45 and A14 Trunk Roads. There are railway stations in Wellingborough, Kettering and Huntingdon all of which provide mainline links to London.

Directions - From the roundabout intersection at Stanwick Lakes take the exit signposted towards Stanwick and Raunds. Proceed through Stanwick following the road through the tight left hand bend and up past the church. Upon entering Raunds, at the first roundabout turn left into London Road and proceed down the hill and then up the hill where the property is located on the left hand side.
