LOCATION
Located on the edge of Cardinham Woods the property has a peaceful setting along a quiet lane. The village of Cardinham is only a short drive away which has a parish church and primary school. THE GARDENS
The beautiful gardens need to be seen to be appreciated. They extend to approximately 1.25 of an acre and are mostly laid to lawn. They lead down to the stream at the bottom boundary and beyond this is Cardinham Woods. At one end of the garden there is a pretty summerhouse with a paved patio area to the front and a greenhouse nearby. On the other side of the garden is a large spring fed pond which has a raised bank on the lower side with many mature shrubs, wildflowers and trees such as Acer. The pond is well stocked with lots of lily pads with many currently in bloom. Adjoining the lane on the higher side of the gardens there is a further parking area for several cars and a tractor shed to the far side of the boundary. A mature hedge separates a higher garden area which is also laid to lawn and has a central planted flower boarder and leads back to the brick paved path which wraps around from the terrace to the front of the property which is screened from the lane by a retaining wall and well stocked bank.
From Bodmin take the A389 to Carminnow roundabout and then take the A38 towards Plymouth. At the roundabout take the first exit left towards Cardinham and Mount and follow this road past the turning on the left to Cardinham Woods, through Fletchers Bridge and up the hill the other side. At the top of the hill take the left hand turning to Cardinham. Go a short way down the hill and you will see a lane branching off to the left. Take this road down to a T junction, Turn left here and follow the lane down and then branch off left again signposted to Milltown Farm and Goat House. Glynnwood is the first bungalow on the right straight after Milltown Farm.
