`The Cottage has always been a warm and welcoming family home set in beautiful quiet countryside yet only 5 minutes away from a mainline station for a commute to London. We have especially enjoyed the garden which catches the sun, the views over the fields and the abundance of wildlife from squirrels to woodpeckers and the occasional bat and owl that visit us. The house itself is full of character and has a wonderful history in the village; it has all the space and modern features that we have needed for our growing family while at the same time always retaining its cottage feel and charm. The village has also been wonderful, welcoming and full of friendly people, with lots going on, a fantastic school and thriving social community and pub. In short we have loved our 11 years here`
