Agents Planning /Construction / Mortgage Comment - We believe the original construction of this style of bungalow in the late 50's was classed as 'Cornish' style. Following enquiries we have reproduced below an excerpt from an email received in July 2016 from South Gloucestershire Building Control:
'We have a Building Regulation application submitted in 1988 (our ref B88/1353/N) for underpinning and alterations.At the time completion certificates were not issued, but I can tell you that the work was signed off as complete, to the satisfaction of the Council, on 25th October 1988'.
Comment: Where a non traditional construction property of this type has been altered the majority of lenders nowadays require sight of a valid PRC Certificate when considering a loan. Despite the above comment from the Local Authority we cannot confirm that such a PRC certificate exists.
If potential purchasers require a mortgage with a specific lender we would suggest that they check that lender's requirements or policy prior to arranging a viewing.
