We fell in love with this house when we first saw it, almost nine years ago, and we have loved living here ever since. Whether it's waking up to the sun rising over the river and watching the boats go by, or relaxing in the peaceful garden, the location is wonderful and we have great neighbours, we wish we could take with us. The house is full of character, thanks to the individual touches created by a local artist and boat builder, including bespoke wardrobes in both bedrooms and a converted Uffa Fox boat, which now makes the perfect sunny spot to sit and relax in the garden. Storage space is not a problem, thanks to the ample loft, which we have boarded. The upside-down layout of the house makes the most of the stunning river view and has really worked for us.
