A QUICK GUIDE TO OWNING A BEACH HUT 
Most beach huts in the UK are on sites owned by a Local Authority and are subject to annual licenses. Our license is modelled very closely on the same agreement except that the site is privately owned by our small family company. The alternative form of tenure are Freehold and leasehold sites which are both rare and expensive!

When you purchase a hut on a license you effectively purchase the wooden hut outright and included in the price is the premium that you pay to access our site. Unless you are buying a lease or a freehold beach hut, buying a hut on a license does not constitute an acquisition of an interest in land.

A question many people ask is what happens if I want to sell my hut? You are permitted to sell the new type of huts that have been constructed from 2005 onwards. RUSTINGTON BEACH HUTS 
Each year we have a limited number of new huts available and there are generally one or two pre-owned huts for sale. Very few change hands and it is important that we have up to date details of potential customers so that we can advise you immediately a hut becomes available.

New huts come in 4 sizes:
8 x 12 including 4 foot veranda
6 x 12 including 4 foot veranda
10 x 12 including 4 foot veranda
6 x 6 - no veranda

Most huts have a veranda which gives extra privacy. The 8 x 12 huts are the most popular and most have a window in the left door. The second most popular is the 6 x 12 hut. Very occasionally we have 6 x 6 huts at the Eastern end of our site.

You are welcome to come down and look at the huts at any time. The best place to park is in Mariners Walk, Rustington from where our huts are just a short walk across the greensward.

WE BUILD TO A STANDARD NOT TO A PRICE! 
All new huts have insulated walls with pine tongue and groove lining and Rockwall insulation. Full specifications are available on request. They are built using tanalised timber, stainless steel fixings and 'farm gate' quality galvanised hinges and bolts. We use the finest quality paints in a variety of beautiful shades.

The quality of the build and the materials that we use mean that our new beach huts should have a design life of at least 25 years providing they are cared for. The coatings that we use should also mean that you won't have to get the paint brush out for 3 or 4 years or more!

All our new huts have a purpose built interior with a galley unit sink and pumped water, tables and chairs, storage, privacy curtains and soft furnishings all designed to create a beach hut with a difference.

ANNUAL LICENSE 
The cost of the annual license varies depending on plot size. The fee is reviewed annually.
