Have a wander down Edward Road and marvel at number 108. This beautiful tiled building is now flats, but was once part of Truman's brewery, it is simply glorious. Stoneydown Park is not only a great park with a kids playground, it is also home to a music festival. Every summer the Stoneydown Park festival fills the air with good music from local musicians, and fills our bellies with great food and nice cold beer. Its completely free and personally speaking, one of my favourite events of the year. Just behind the park is Bonners fish bar, which according to some, is the best chip shop in Walthamstow.
