I moved here from London with three children aged five, and it was a gorgeous place for them, with so many rooms and so many places to play hide and seek. As teenagers they loved all having their own space. It's been a great house and I've enjoyed making it better - adding central heating, a new bathroom, oak flooring in the main bedroom and rebuilding the outside balcony. I'll miss the views and the amazing internal space, and the open-air swimming pool in Tonbridge. Also the huge and quiet study where I've written my first novel.
