PLANNING

Cornwall Council granted outline planning permission (Ref. PA15/09884) for the erection of up to 37 dwellings (access only) on land to the west of Sir James Smiths Community School, Station Road, Camelford on 19th August 2016.

There is an associated Section 106 legal agreement which requires 30% affordable housing (11 dwellings) and contributions of 2,736.00 per open market dwelling for education, 1,236 per open market dwelling and 284 per affordable dwelling towards the maintenance and upgrading of Enfield Park, Camelford as an off-site public open space contribution. The affordable housing mix is 8 affordable rented dwellings and 3 shared ownership dwellings.
