When we first viewed the maisonette over 20 years ago, we realised it would be perfect for us. We love the amount of space it has and, unlike many similar homes, it doesn't give us the feeling of being cramped. We also really enjoy our garden as it's a great size and a wonderful sun trap. The neighbours have always been very friendly - in fact the whole village has a real community spirit.

We love going for walks through the surrounding countryside - there's even a towpath along the nearby renovated canal which is just beautiful. We can also take our pick from several country pubs in the area if we want a quick drink or bite to eat.
