Full description

Tenure: Freehold

Nestled at the end of the cul de sac, this 2 bedroom bungalow started life as a 3 bedroom home and when the owner decided to put the conservatory on the back of the property, it made sense to turn what was the third bedroom into a separate dining room.

You can enjoy sitting out in the conservatory whilst you take in the view over the garden.

With a garage located en bloc, opposite the bungalow, you'll have plenty of storage space. There is even parking in front for one car as well as roadside parking.

The well proportioned kitchen has plenty of work top space so you'll be able to try out some new recipes on your discerning guests.

Whilst the property could benefit from some modernisation, the owners have clearly maintained the property well over the years and they have clearly taken pride in keeping their home spic and span.

For anyone looking to put their own mark on a property, then this could be the ideal home as you could move in and take your time on it.

Not far away, there is a good choice of local shops, hairdressers and eateries. Kennington also boasts its own doctors surgery and garden centre. By car, you can join junction 9 of the motorway within a matter of minutes.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

Our sister bought this bungalow from new in the 1950's and it is only due to getting older, that she is unable to live at the property anymore. She has always loved the convenient location as it is so quiet here yet it is only a few minutes walk to local shops and there is a bus route at the end of the road.

Over the years, she have really enjoyed the garden and it gets the sun for most of the day. When the rhododendrons are in bloom, it looks beautiful. The garden is also really quiet and incredibly private. The boiler was replaced approximately 18 months ago and the loft has been insulated. We are selling with no onward chain so anyone could be in pretty quickly.
