"In 2005 while living in Blandford Forum I began to suffer from muscle spasms, a result of an old buck injury. My family suggested that I move to Dorchester where they could be of assistance in minutes. This is how I came to live in Poundbury, 30 Westcott Street, which I bought in 2006, being a town house, has a lot of stairs but my Ostepopath thought they would not harm my condition but would be beneficial. Fast forward a few years and I abandoned the top floor and moved to the second bedroom. The box room wall was removed and a large wardrobe was installed along one wall. I had towel rails and down lights fitted this year. But the years are beginning to tell and a move to a flat seemed a sensible move. At 87 I still walk into Dorchester six days a week weather permitting but for how much longer? I will jump before I am pushed."
