Full description

Tenure: Freehold

Built in 2012 to an imaginative, high specification and contemporary design, Lillies is quite simply one of the best modern homes in the beautiful Teign Valley. The quality of materials and standard of finish achieved is unlikely to be surpassed and the overall effect really must be seen to be appreciated. Designed to take full advantage of the outstanding panoramic views, this one-off home boasts a wealth of unique features ideal for modern living, with the added benefit of some surprising extras including a "hidden" study/playroom and a fine triple garage. EER 'C'.

"Lillies" lies within half a mile or so of the friendly Teign Valley village of Christow. Just within the Dartmoor National Park surrounded by breathtaking countryside, close to the Kennick and Tottiford Reservoirs and nearby Canonteign Falls. The village has a fine refurbished local Inn / eatery, church and post office / store, primary school, playing fields and active community groups including a tennis court and playgroup. Teign Valley Golf Club is close by as is all the rugged beauty of the Dartmoor National Park. The house sits equidistant between three local village pubs and looks across the valley to the infamous Nobody Inn. The City of Exeter is just 10 miles away with Chudleigh nearby and the A38 Expressway to Plymouth just 40 miles distant.

Exit the city via Exe Bridges and Cowick Street which leads onto the B3212 Longdown Road. Continue through Longdown and go down the hill into the Teign Valley. Turn left at Farrants Cross onto the B3193 which is signposted to Chudleigh and Christow. Go over the River Teign and then at the T-Junction turn left into the Teign Valley Road. Take the second turning to the right signposted to Christow opposite the Teign House Inn. Upon reaching the village, stay on the road heading up the hill. The road bears around to the left, continue for a couple of hundred yards and take the tight right hand turn between two old properties (signposted Bridford). This is the Bridford Road. After about 800 yards there is a little hamlet on the right hand side. 'Lillies' can be found down a small lane on the right hand side, just past 'Little Lillies'.
