HouseSimple is pleased to present this property in Carshalton.

Perfectly situated for the benefit of the area’s great schools, and yet less than a 5 minute walk to Carshalton Station for its multiple routes to London, this property has recently benefited from recent refurbishment and an extension to create the perfect living space with a large kitchen diner and a separate lounge (and snug). It has been finished to a high standard including engineered hard wood floors and a double fronted wood-burner in the lounge.

Entering through the new wooden front door with stained glass, you will immediately be struck by the light pouring in through the rear bi-fold doors spanning the width of the kitchen diner.

The kitchen is newly fitted with sleek lines and minimalist designs, with quality finishes such as a marble splash back and white quartz worktop.  The large kitchen island with overhang for seating creates the perfect space for entertaining.

The dining room area has space for a large table as well as a sofa and chairs, perfect for entertaining a large group of people or family mealtimes.

The bi-folds open to the newly laid patio to provide an indoor out area, and frame the view of the lovely lawned garden, with borders to each side with a variety of shrubs and trees. At the rear of the large garden are multiple garden sheds and plenty of storage space. The main shed has electricity running to it, directly from the house trip/fuse box.

The stylish utility room has space for a washing machine and separate tumble dryer, further storage space, and a separate back door.

The downstairs bathroom includes a rain-effect shower and built in cupboards and shelving.

Upstairs the property benefits from 2 large double bedrooms, a family bathroom and a single bedroom or study.

In the front facing bedroom the current owners have installed bespoke floor to ceiling wardrobes.

The owners have also installed new double glazed windows throughout the whole house earlier in the year.

Architect drawings for a loft conversion are also available, which would provide space for an extra bedroom and en-suite.

Note from the owners: We’ve loved living in this house. It’s so nice being able to walk to the shops, local pubs and various amenities of the area. The house has such a lovely feel and flow to it, it’s so spacious and airy. We’ve almost completely (and lovingly) renovated the house in our time here, and will be really sad to leave. We think the living space is perfect for a couple or family, and it always feels like the house is in its element when there are lots of people around making the most of the space. We would definitely stay here for many years to come, but need find a home with separate space for my mum. I hope someone will move in who will love it as we have.
