From Aberdeen take the A944 west signposted to Alford. Pass through Alford, continue for 6 miles and turn left onto the A97 signposted to Kildrummy and Strathdon. Follow this road west for 10 miles and continue straight onto the A944 signposted to Corgarff and Tomintoul. Pass through the village of Bellabeg. Two miles beyond Bellabeg you will pass the gates to Candacraig House. The entrance to Candacraig Square can be found on the left shortly after.

From Grantown-on-Spey take the A939 south past the Lecht Ski Centre. Turn left onto the A944 which leads to Strathdon. The gates to Candacraig Square are on the right hand side after about 4 miles.
