Tenure: Freehold

Even on first glance, you can tell that this home has been well looked after.

In 2014, the owners had all the double glazing replaced with triple glazing by Bright Light Windows and these came with a 10 year guarantee.

For anyone thinking of extending, the house has a good size plot where subject to planning consent, you should have plenty of space to the side of the property to be able to erect a single or double storey extension.

The owners had the property rewired approximately 10 years ago and they also had cavity wall insulation installed.

The stunning bathroom suite is bound to impress you with its luxurious fittings, heated flooring, separate shower cubicle with rain fall shower as well as a bath to enjoy a long soak. There is even a modern ground floor cloakroom so you can get a bath in peace!

The garden is a real masterpiece and with a good selection of shrubbery, seating areas and an attractive water feature, you can look forward to enjoying your surroundings. For anyone into growing their own veg, the greenhouse is likely to come in very useful. There is also a garden shed and an outbuilding/workshop which has power. The garden also has side and rear access which can come in very useful at times.

What the Owner says:

When we moved into our home in 1979, we were a family of 4 and we needed the accommodation. The kitchen diner was a big appeal and it has really been the hub of the house, particularly when the girls were at home. We spend a lot of time out in the garden and it is a labour of love for us. We have completely transformed it over the years and given the garden wraps round to the side of the property, we have a good amount of space to play with.

Our daughters went to Oak Tree school which is now called Ashford Oaks and we often walked into town or to the station when we've had a day trip to London. Victoria Park is only about 10 minutes walk away. There is a good choice of shops nearby, takeaways and a post office.
