Situation And Amenities - Aislaby is a small village on the north bank of the River Tees about two miles to the west of Yarm, which is one of the most popular market towns in the old North Yorkshire Riding, about nine miles south of Middlesbrough, and eleven miles from Darlington and the main East Coast rail service to London (2 ½ hours).
