The grounds of Moor Park Gardens were once part of the gardens of Coombe Warren originally built in 1860 which was rebuilt in 1870 as a result of a fire for Bertram Wodehouse Currie (a successful international financier and banker) who used to entertain William Gladstone during his four terms as Prime Minister who left a legacy behind him.
