The Vendor's View - We were drawn to the size and spacious feel of the property, with its large windows that let in plenty of natural light and added to its airy feel. At the time we needed a family home, and this large four bedroom house was ideal.

Quite possibly our favourite part of the house is the hallway. It has such a wonderful welcoming feel and is a lovely introduction into the home. The open retro staircase leads up to the large, light and spacious landing, complete with window seat. We spend most of our time in the modern and comfortable sitting room, which is especially cosy in the winter when the wood-burning stove is alight.

The position of the house is great as it is so easy to access the city centre and everything you could possibly need, but is also quiet and a stones throw from countryside. It's also only a short 20 minute drive to the coastal town of Whitstable. We’ve enjoyed cycling the Crab & Winkle Way many times during our time here.

Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, the position is very quiet and yet only a 20 minute walk from town, mere minutes by car or bus. We enjoy visiting the Gulbenkian Theatre at Kent University, which is no more than a 15 minute walk away and we’re conveniently located for shops, schools and local amenities. Canterbury West offers the high-speed service into London St. Pancras in under an hour, and the station is a only 15 minute walk.

This has been a great family home, but now that our children have flown the nest we will be looking to downsize.
