WARHAM Between Binham and Wells-next-the-Sea, it is not on the coast but close enough to walk or cycle there. Although only a small village it has two medieval churches. St. Mary Magdalen's stands at the west end of Warham, and All Saints', found to the south-east, has lost its tower. Inside, it has three fonts, one of which is Norman. South of the village, beside the river Stiffkey, is a fine Iron Age fort, known as Warham Camp. It is quite well preserved and makes for an interesting visit. The popular village pub, The Horseshoes, is a free house and serves meals.
