Location
Frenchay grew as a village largely in Georgian times. It became popular for wealthy Bristol merchants to locate their family houses around the village green. The conservation area status of the area means the area remains pretty much unspoilt today and is still popular with Bristolians and those requiring easy access to the motorway networks. The village pub, cricket club and church all benefit from this open space.

Directions
From junction 1 on the M32 follow the signs around the ring road to Frenchay. After turning right at the first set of traffic lights take the first left turn into Beckspool Road. Follow the road past the pond on the left hand side and pull over just past the bus stop on the left in front of Riverwood House. On foot walk to the right hand side of the main house and down the lane. Just past the first garage on the right is the gate set into the wall to the front garden.
