The land is situated to the north of the Newton to Stape road, approximately mile to the west of the Stape crossroads.

Description

A single field of productive arable land which is level and capable of producing heavy yielding crops. For many years this field has traditionally grown spring barley, for which it is eminently suitable. It is easily worked land and usually averages approximately 2.5 - 3 tons per acre of spring barley.
