“I love to sit out there when it is warm, having coffee or a meal, perhaps,” she says. “I have a table and chairs on the balcony, as well as a few plants.”
There are also communal gardens at the apartment block, where residents can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.
“These are not large but they are very mature and feature some big evergreens, which is where the name of the apartments come from,” she adds.

SUPERB SETTING
Life at Evergreen Cross road has given her easy access to everything she has needed.
“It takes just five minutes to walk to the station, the shops or various restaurants,” she says. “I am also well-positioned for the M3 and M25: it is very easy to commute from here or to reach airports.”
It is quick to get into Ascot or to Windsor to go shopping and there are lots of country pubs and good restaurants within reach.
“This is a very convenient place to live as there is so much here and you can pick up motorways for travelling to other parts of the country so easily.”

SPECIAL HOME
For those who enjoy active pursuits, Great Windsor Park and Virginia Water Park are also nearby. Stunning Windsor Great Park offers 5,000 acres of beautiful grounds to explore, including a deer park.
“There is polo in the park and of course we are lucky enough to have Ascot Racecourse on the doorstep here too,” she says.

Sunningdale also boasts a good selection of pubs and restaurants including the Ascot Grill and Belvedere Arms, while cinemas and theatres can be found at Camberley and Windsor.
She will miss the location of the apartment, as well as its high ceilings, light and spaciousness when she leaves.
“It is a home that is quite special,” she adds. “Everyone who comes here comments on how nice it is.”
