previously comprised the former Roslin Institute which has now largely been demolished to make
way for housing. The site is enclosed on all sides by established tree corridors. Beyond the southern boundary is the existing village of Roslin. The site slopes gently to the north toward a burn following the boundary. The western boundary of the site is to Main Street / the B7006.
