The renowned Tarka trail can be accessed from the village and this follows the Taw and Torridge estuaries. Following the main A361 from Barnstaple to Ilfracombe continue through the main set of traffic lights in the centre of Braunton (our offices on the right). In a short distance take the left hand turn, just as you pass the fire station on your left, take the turning left. Continue along this lane following signs to Darracott. On entering the hamlet there is a house named Quoinlea on front of you keep this house on your right and take the next right hand lane follow this lane past cottages until you see a no through road sign on your right.
