Directions

From Wimborne centre proceed north on the B3078 Cranborne Road. After about a mile, take the right hand turn signposted Holt/ Horton/ Furzehill. Proceed down this road for about 1.2 miles, then take the left hand turn into Petersham Lane, signposted to Gaunts Common. After about 1.2 miles, turn left into a gravel lane just opposite the village school (there is a sign for Gaunts Cottage). At the end of this short lane, turn right and drive past Dolls Cottage into the gravel parking area in front of Gaunts Cottage.
