Directional Note - From Okehampton proceed out of the town as if towards Exeter on the A30 dual carriageway. At Whiddon Down exit as if for Chagford and follow the signs for Crockernwell and Hittisleigh. After approximately 1.5 miles at Ford Lane Cross, turn right signposted for Drewsteignton and follow this road for approximately 2 miles into the village. In the village centre, park on the square. Proceed on foot, passing The Old Inn and up the lane until reaching a gate into an open field. Turn right keeping the hedgeline to the right handside and proceeding into the next field. Proceed up hill diagonally across this field and the former water storage tank will be found straight ahead in the top corner.
