Full description

Tenure: Freehold

If you are looking for a really spacious family home to put your own mark on, this could well be the one for you! The accommodation is laid out over 5 levels and is really versatile to suit your own needs. The family room has large patio doors opening out onto the rear garden which is mainly decked for easy maintenance. This room, which could also be used as a dining room, has a wide opening to the adjacent kitchen/breakfast room so you can keep an eye on the children whilst preparing the meals. The useful study will allow you to work in peace and quiet.

The huge lounge has a feature gas fire as its focal point together with a balcony overlooking the rear garden and woods beyond. Imagine sitting here on a summer's evening, glass of wine in hand, soaking up the sun as it disappears behind the trees - perfect! All the bedrooms are a good size, especially bedroom 1, with its en-suite giving you privacy from the rest of the family.

There is an internal door to the double garage - especially handy when you want to get to your car when it's raining outside - and there's further parking in front of both garage doors.

The house is situated in a pleasant cul-de-sac in the heart of the village so the local shops, schools and amenities are all within walking distance. Horsham is around 7 miles away with its excellent shops and mainline rail link to London and the coast.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

I bought this house when it was newly built in 1983 and was immediately intrigued by its quirky design. As soon as I walked in, I was amazed by how much space it offered, and the versatility of the layout was really appealing. I love the fact that the sun streams in through the main living rooms and kitchen/breakfast room for much of the day.

The location is fantastic, tucked away near the end of the cul-de-sac so there's very little passing traffic, I've always thought how safe it is, especially when raising small children. If I fancy going for a walk, the nearby Downs Link allows me to stroll through the pretty countryside which is right on my doorstep.
