I have loved this property for 20 years. It has been my sanctuary. It was ideal for what i was then, a single person.
It doesn’t' seem to big yet it expands for friends and family. There are neighbors (near but not obtrusive) who are around to help in any crisis.
The peace is palpable. You can hear the birds singing in the gardens and countrywide. no cars, no aeroplanes. although the house may seem remote it is not. it is near Welwyn, Cuffley, Cheshunt and Hertford by car. Hertford was my home town and I have always kept in touch with friends there, I enjoyed Hertford’s amenities and architecture. I am always pleased to go back home.
There have been celebrations in the property and gardens, a time to celebrate bluebells in the woods, a time to get together at Christmas (sometimes reached through a land of snow).
Now it is time to leave for a more urban environment, I have so many happy memories to sustain me and I hope that the new owners enjoy the magic of the place as much as I have.
