PURCHASING THIS PROPERTY WITH A LIFETIME LEASE

This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £100,000, please contact Ward & Partners.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Whether you are a first time buyer looking to get onto the housing ladder or an investor looking to add to your portfolio then make sure you view this apartment in the popular Clarendon area of town.

The lounge area is a cosy and homely room which offers a great place to entertain and relax, the kitchen area will be a place to experiment with new recipes whilst you can keep an eye on the children doing their homework around the dining room table. This whole area is spacious and a great place to entertain family and friends of an evening or at the weekend.

This unique apartment has its own entrance door so you will have no communal areas to contend with, to the side of the property there is a garage which belongs to the apartment and will be a great place to park the car or for additional storage.

With the regeneration of Dover staring to take off in future years it really will become the place to be. Dover Priory mainline railway station with its fast links to London is also within walking distance and will make a commute to the City in just over an hour away.

What the Owner says:

I purchased this home over 10 year ago, I viewed lots of properties at the time but this really appealed due to the spacious layout. The location and especially the fact the apartment had a garage.

During my time here I have redecorated throughout and also installed a new boiler.

Being so close to Dover Priory railway station and a walk away from town is something I will miss, however, now is the right time to sell the property and move on to the next chapter of my life with my new wife.
