The Story

A FAMILY AFFAIR
With spacious rooms downstairs, the accommodation flows well throughout the property and is perfect for parents with growing children. The large triple aspect main reception room has enough space for the whole family. The dining room and conservatory are located next to the kitchen. There is also a downstairs bedroom and shower room, ideal for an elderly relative. Upstairs all the bedrooms (one with en-suite) are a good size and there is a spacious family bathroom.

TIDEBROOK
Designated as a hamlet, Tidebrook is made up of a collection of old farmhouses or cottages built for farm workers (with the exception of Tidebank Cottage). These lie in a valley close to the main road from the Best Beech Inn to Rushers Cross. St John the Baptist Church is a focal point and the area remains unspoilt by the nearby expanding towns and villages and there is much wildlife to be seen. Many of the residents either work in the nearby villages or commute to London via the Wadhurst and Tunbridge Wells stations. There is a cohesive local community with many Christmas events and the Tidebrook Fete.

SETTING THE SCENE
The School House has a large south west facing rear garden and is surrounded by rural idyllic countryside. The property is only a 10 minute drive to Wadhurst and although the house would benefit from some modernisation and improvement, it is almost certainly the location you are purchasing, and this is something that simply cannot be rivalled.

Setting The Scene

Driving along the rural country lane on the way to this fabulous property you are surrounded by woodland with only the sounds of the rustling leaves or creaking trees. Passing adjacent fields, occasionally you will catch a glimpse of yet more countryside and start to experience the peace that this property has to offer. As your journey continues along the winding road you will begin to wonder exactly where you are, which is part of the appeal. Eventually you arrive in the small hamlet of Tidebrook. The house is one of the first that you come to on the right. There is a drive to the front of the property with parking, overlooking a large south west facing garden. The downstairs accommodation is generous with two reception rooms, a kitchen/dining room, downstairs bedroom with adjacent shower room and a conservatory. Going upstairs there are three large bedrooms, one with en-suite, and a very spacious bathroom. One will never tire of the views of the surrounding countryside that this property has to offer
