We bought our home back in 1983 as I worked locally and we wanted a good size family home with added potential to extend. Over the years, I converted what was the original garage into a bedroom and added an en-suite. This was ideal for when my mother came to stay with us. I had the double garage built and with an electric opening door, it has made it easy to be able to put the car away. The garage also has a sink unit with hot and cold water; very handy!
We have always loved the garden as it is a good enough size to be able to enjoy being green fingered without being too big to manage. Over the years we have grown plenty of vegetables and it has been lovely sitting out on the patio looking on to the pond.
