Full description

The exact history of the original building is unknown but is thought to date back a considerable period of time. In more recent times it was part of Morgan's racing stables. The property was converted by the present owners about twenty years ago to their own particular requirements with an upstairs of just two very large bedrooms, a bathroom and a cloakroom. Normally with a first floor of this size you would expect three or four bedrooms and there is clearly potential to amend the layout to provide a greater number of bedrooms if required. Downstairs the proportions are impressive with a very large and well fitted kitchen/breakfast room/family room off which is a large conservatory. There is a good size hall and a large sitting room with wood burning stove. The property enjoys the benefit of gas (LPG) central heating and is double glazed. There is a good size garage and plenty of parking. The property stands in something of over half an acre comprising formal garden and woodland. Michaelston le Pit has long been regarded as one of the most desirable villages in the Vale of Glamorgan being tucked away very much in the heart of the countryside but literally just a few minutes drive into the capital city. It is on a no through road and comprising an attractive mixture of individual properties grouped around a very pretty parish church. Easy access onto the link road and then to the M4 and the A48 brings plenty of other centres and facilities within comfortable distance.
