Vendor Comments
We purchased Donnington Villas with the intention of creating a buy to let student house of multiple occupancy and a lot of work later we have created a family home that we are struggling to part with. Our son Thomas did much of the interior design and with every decision we would put hours into finding what we felt was the right solution, from radiator valves to fireplace mantles every decision was as a family. We didn’t just want to ‘develop’ this house, it had been unloved for 30 years or more and we felt it deserved more, from Farrow and Ball colours throughout to solid wood kitchen cabinets we have tried to show the building how it should be. We put many hours into reinstating the flagstone flooring in the basement by hand having been abused by many treatments and floorings over the years. The basement has also been damp proofed throughout with a transferrable guarantee to allow it to become an enjoyable space to watch a movie or catch up on some work from the (truncated)
