There are a handful of nice watering holes and cafes locally; The Old Nun’s Head and The Habit cafe to name a couple. Four Hundred Rabbits is the newest pizza joint in town. Nunhead Green has also just got itself a great community centre by AOC Architects.

Peckham Bazaar on nearby Consort Road (where you'll also find Munday's HQ) is the hottest restaurant in SE15, with Balkan cuisine, friendly staff and a fab wine list. The Bussey Building and Copeland Park are also close for the trendiest of pop-up eateries, drinkeries, exhibitions and the like. The ‘triangle’ at the end of Peckham Rye is ablaze lately with new places to eat and hang out. Mr Bao (Asian), Banh Banh (Vietnamese), Corals and Pedler are just a handful. There’s a trendy hair salon too (Blue Tit) and The White Horse has recently been taken over by the folk behind The Montpelier on Choumert Road. Bellenden Road and Rye Lane provide lots more options and Peckham Plex Cinema is committed to offering films for under a fiver.

Getting about is a cinch. Grab a main line or Overground train at Queen’s Road Peckham, Peckham Rye or Nunhead stations. Or jump on a bus from nearby Queen’s Road. The 436 is a handy route up to Victoria.
