The Vendor's View - I bought the property as a plot three years ago, when moving to Whitstable to be closer to my daughter. When I saw the potential to build the kind of home I wanted, I went ahead and created the house that you see today. It became a labour of love, and I completed the building work a year ago.

The house is built to a high standard, and is energy efficient, meaning that it is relatively inexpensive to run. The downstairs is all open-plan, on a sunny day it’s very bright, and always has a spacious feel.

The property is ideally located, close to schools, near to the local bus stop and near to a whole host of local amenities. The house is just a 15 minute walk from the town centre, which is full of lovely independent shops. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk away.

I have loved working on this house and really enjoyed living here. I will miss walking along the beach to Whitstable town centre and Harbour, which is a really pleasant stroll.
