What the owner says
"We both liked the house immediately we saw it. The peaceful location with no passing traffic appealed We saw the potential to modernise the house and knew that once we did that it would be perfect for us.
We have found that East Dean is a lovely place to live. There's a lively social life available centered in the Village Hall which is situated near the Village Green, complete with the famous Tiger Inn. A weekly Farmer's Market is held every week.
East Dean is conveniently located on the A259 with a short journey into Eastbourne. Many locals find the bus service very convenient, which takes them into town and back. Local down land walks are endless with famous Birling Gap only two miles away.
We are just a 5 minute walk from the local shops where the excellent medical practice is situated together with a Veterinary practice, ladies hair salon, butcher's shop, men's barbers and the Barn General Store which sells all the essentials including fruit and vegetables and houses the post office."
