The Vendors View - The factor that first attracted us was the age of the property and the large gardens, as well as its position in the centre of a small pretty village. That being said, it wasn't until we stepped inside that we knew we just had to live here.
It’s difficult to say which is our favourite feature or room as we really love it all. We tend to gather in the cosy dining/kitchen room, but we also enjoy a good book in front of the fire in the sitting room. However, the conservatory/dining room has an old vine and it is a favourite place to entertain friends surrounded by bunches of grapes!
Eastling is a very friendly village with a great pub, beautiful old church, modern village hall and school. We particularly like the location. It is lovely to live in a rural village with the market town of Faversham just 15 minutes away. It’s ideal to be so close to motorways and yet be unable to hear the traffic, and the ability to catch the fast train to London for work or a day out! The Channel Tunnel and ferries are so close that we can also enjoy a day out in France! The best of all worlds we think!
We will miss the totally private garden the most. It’s wonderful to be able to relax outside, without being overlooked.
