The Cottage of Ardea is a uniquely-designed, three-bedroom, detached house with magnificent views up Loch Leven towards Glen Coe. The house is situated in a secluded location not far from the village of Ballachulish. This is a versatile house consisting of a very large sitting-room which could easily be divided into a substantial sitting-room and dining-room, allowing for the existing dining-room to be used as a fourth bedroom.

The central garden-room is a large room which has many potential uses. The current owner has set the room to very effective use as a grand dining- room (see photo) but it could be turned into an extensive conservatory- style room too. The house benefits from oil central-heating and a Baxi back-boiler off the fire in the sitting-room.

Nearby Ballachulish village has a supermarket and other shops, a medical practice, garage, cafes and hotels. There is a 9-hole golf course very nearby and extensive access to walks for all abilities. Fort William is only 14 miles to the north and provides a full range of shops, supermarkets, medical and dental facilities, a secondary school, college and a host of leisure and sports facilities. Lochaber is celebrated as the 'Outdoor Capital of the UK' and offers a wide range of outdoor sports including walking, climbing, mountain-biking and water sports.
