consent for residential development in 1963,

residential settlement boundary and is classified
in the Horsham District Council Local Plan as
being land in the Countryside and within an Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Further, the
southern portion of the site (approx. 150 feet
deep) falls within a Tree Preservation Order belt
running along the B2110. As such, land use is
currently restrictive. However, the land is situated
within a previously developed cul de sac and set
amongst individual dwellings in spacious plots. It
may therefore have some longer-term potential
for residential development, subject to
