We love how easy it is to reach Wood Street train station and we love the Wood Street area in general. We also love all the local history in the area - Wood Street is one of Walthamstow's oldest shopping streets, it used to serve the 'wealthy residents' around the Forrest area. Having the town hall virtually on our doorstep is also lovely, we've been to some great concerts there. Having the scenic 'Lloyd Park' within an easy walking distance has also given us a lovely open space to enjoy. We occasionally love the 'hustle and bustle' of Walthamstow market, we absolutely love eating out at some of the great restaurants in and around Walthamstow Village, but having said that... we're also rather partial to eating at the famous 'Grade II Listed' Manze's Pie and Mash shop at Walthamstow market.

The Recent Renovation Work: 
The sash cord windows were stripped back and redecorated. These face the street and give the house its character, so we couldn't bear the thought of losing them. We did not replace the three double glazed windows to rear as they were already in a good condition. The house has been completely rewired. The plumbing was also completely updated. The walls and ceilings were re-plastered and painted to give a contemporary blank canvas. The kitchen and bathroom are newly installed. The side of the house has also been repointed.
