There’s Yardarm of course, where Dan and Eliza curate an amazing range of lovely things to eat and drink, Helen at Edie Rose, who does the most wonderful floral arrangements, and Aimee at Phlox, the perfect place to sit with a coffee whilst you browse the bookshelves. Then there are all the new businesses opening soon – Louise next door to us with her yoga studio, Tiff and Lucie with their art/gift shop, and of course the new Kettle & Ryan bistro at Yardarm. It’s an area that is constantly re-inventing itself and evolving, which is one of the reasons we love it here, and why we think you will too…

Living Here... - If you consider yourself a budding Renoir or Rothko, then this is the property for you, because at the risk of sounding clichéd, it's the ultimate blank canvas. Offered chain free, it is considerably larger than the Abrahams flats which proliferate in this area, and additionally has an extra bedroom, making it a potentially excellent buy to let investment. It's also ready to move into straight away, which is great whether it is a first time or investment purchase. On the first floor are two evenly sized main rooms, the front one of which could either be used as a bedroom or a second reception. The dining room to the rear leads onto the kitchen and bathroom. In This Area... - Leyton is home to the only shop that can be seen from space. OK, that's not entirely true, but the carnival shop on the high road is definitely bright. There's no way you'll miss this multi coloured wonder, it looks like it's made of Lego. The shop sits opposite coronation gardens, a beautiful park with a little maze, pond and fountain. Walk all the way through coronation gardens and you'll find Leyton beach, yep, that's right, Leyton beach, former training ground for beach volley ball teams during the 2012 olympics. The high road is also home to the Leyton technical, a lovely pub that occupies the ground floor of the old town hall. It has good beer, good food, and the longest walk to the toilet you'll ever find. If you like beer, Leyton is the place for you, as both Brodie's beers and the East London Brewing Company are based in E10. Sidmouth park, just behind the carnival shop, is a hit with kids as there's loads of stuff to play on. If you are hungry or thirsty, Wander to Francis road and you'll find a bucket load of nice cafes, including Yardarm, Marmelo Kitchen, and Albert & Francis.
