What we believe makes this property unique:
This village house is totally unique and has been fitted to a very high standard throughout. The quality and character on offer deliver a real style and elegance I think you will like. It makes a perfect home or even a lock up and leave if you are a globe trotter, the whole house is very secure and the gardens designed with ease of maintenance in mind.
The entrance hall really sets the scene for what's on offer and with a fabulous vaulted ceiling and stylish tiled floor to enjoy which is carried through to the WC and utility as well as the kitchen dining space.
At the heart of the home, the kitchen breakfast room is a haven for a keen cook and is very much the hub for family life. The high vaulted ceilings again give a wonderful sense of space and with doors to the garden too, it is infinitely practical. With loads of storage space and granite worktops too it's no hardship to cook up some culinary delights here and with the Rangemaster cooker and other fitted appliances including a fridge freezer, microwave, warming drawers there is much to like.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the family room, a perfect spot to relax and with a small study room off this is a perfect informal sitting room.
The formal sitting room and dining room are both at the front of the house and with charming window seats giving some stunning views across to the church. The large fireplace in the sitting room is a delight to sit around in the winter months and is such a convivial spot to relax with a good book, listen to some music or just watch a spot of tv.
There is a stylish shower room on the ground floor proving useful if you wanted to use the family room as a bedroom. Upstairs, is a flexible space and lovely to enjoy as it is but should you want more accommodation then there is some potential to either extend across the current balcony or alternatively you could convert the exceptionally large bathroom and dressing room into a 4th bedroom, if required. There is a lapsed planning permission to extend at the rear which could be reapplied for, if desired.
All the bedrooms have lots of built in storage, enough to satisfy most of us and window seats to enjoy those views again. The master bedroom is a large and decadent room which many of you ladies will enjoy.
Outside, to the front is a stylish frontage with grassed area, shrubs and parking for two cars and a double garage too, electric doors make this extra practical.
To the rear is a very private, landscaped garden to enjoy at any time of the day, facing west and enjoying spots for outdoor dining and seating, there is lots of interest and lighting to create the right mood at any time of the year. There is a wonderful array of shrubs and Pear and Apple trees will supply you with ample fruit in season as will the productive herb garden.
