Located on the outskirts of Chickerell Village, a peaceful coastal village within a mile of the Fleet, the largest natural inlet of sea water in England. Chickerell village has shops, two public houses, a restaurant, chemist and post office. The Turks Head is well regarded locally as it provides good portions of home cooked food available both inside and in the pub garden. The village itself is just outside the town boundary of Weymouth, a Georgian seaside resort with award winning sandy beach and town centre with a good range of high street names and quirky boutiques in the adjacent lanes as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Directions

From Dream Cottages office in Hope Square go through the Square towards the harbour and turn left so the harbour in on your right hand-side. At the top of this road head straight on and then right at the next set of lights. Straight over at the Swannery traffic lights and take the second exit at the next roundabout (signposted B3157 Chickerell). At the next roundabout take the second exit and straight over at the next set of traffic lights. At the end of the road at the next set of lights turn right (signposted B3157 Abbotsbury). A short way further on you will pass a building housing both a Chiropractic clinic and Dentist's practice on the right hand side of the road, very soon after this as the road dips down just prior to it going up a hill, you must take the right hand turn at the bottom of the dip signposted Chickerell Village and Turks Head Restaurant. Follow East Street through the main village and at the end of the road turn left. Follow this road out of the village, you will pass a row of houses on your left hand side, at the end of this row is a five bar gate and private track leading to the property.
