Full description

A Beautiful Ground Floor Abrahams Flat.
Not only is this a fantastic garden flat, it is pretty enviably located as well. On the High Road check out The Leyton Technical, particularly if you like a roast dinner on a Sunday (the Vegetarian Wellington is fabulous!), or perhaps the Leyton Star (where The Chairman burger is a personal favourite). Both will certainly catch the eye of keen wine and beer drinkers alike. Closer to home there's the rapidly changing Francis Road, where Marmelo Kitchen, Yardarm et al are ready and willing to welcome you in with good food and good wine aplenty, and Phlox Books will shortly be opening, ensuring the mind will be as well fed as the body. And if you do over indulge, then why not take a short stroll and watch some cricket at Leyton Cricket Ground – the perfect place to unwind and watch the world (and the odd cricket ball) go by…

Living Here... - We knew we were going to like this property as soon as we walked through the door. But don't take our word for it - come and have a wander around this lovely garden flat and see for yourself what we mean. It's as though you belong there already. Sunlight floods into the front bedroom through the sash bay windows, whilst directly behind it the second double bedroom offers views of the private garden to the rear. Continue your exploration along the stripped wood floorboards of the hallway, and you come to the lounge, safely nestled in the centre of the house, and the perfect spot for hunkering down through those seemingly endless winter days. Immediately off the lounge is the kitchen, whilst across the lobby lies the modern family bathroom. If the lounge is the spot for the winter months, then the garden is the place for Spring and Summer, with plenty of space to relax with a glass of something cold to hand.

In This Area... - Leyton is home to the only shop that can be seen from space. OK, that's not entirely true, but the carnival shop on the High Road is definitely bright. There's no way you'll miss this multi coloured wonder, it looks like it's made of Lego. The shop sits opposite Coronation Gardens, a beautiful park with a little maze, pond and fountain. Walk all the way through Coronation Gardens and you'll find Leyton Beach, yep, that's right, Leyton Beach, former training ground for beach volleyball teams during the 2012 Olympics. The High Road is also home to the Leyton Technical, a lovely pub that occupies the ground floor of the old town hall. It has good beer, good food, and the longest walk to the toilet you'll ever find. If you like beer, Leyton is the place for you, as both Brodie's Beers and the East London Brewing Company are based in E10. Sidmouth Park, just behind the carnival shop, is a hit with kids as there's loads of stuff to play on. If you are hungry or thirsty, wander to Francis Road and you'll find a bucket load of nice cafes, including Yardarm, Marmelo Kitchen, and Albert & Francis.
