HIGHLY DESIRABLE LOCATION WITH EXTENSIVE VIEWS TO REAR...
Presented to the market for the first time in 59 years, this 1920's detached family home offers an extremely rare opportunity and is situated at the end of an un-adopted cul-de-sac.
This attractive property occupies a generous south-westerly plot and boasts far reaching vews across the town and out to sea from two of the bedrooms.
A spacious entrance hall leads to two good size receptions, with the lounge opening out to a lovely conservatory.
The kitchen/breakfast room offers plenty of room to congregate in the morning, and offers an excellent blank canvas for those who may wish to update it.
A downstairs shower room proves handy for when guests come to stay and a cloakroom completes the ground floor.
The first floor presents four well proportioned bedrooms with the large Master Bedroom benefiting from a wonderful dual aspect across the town and along the coast; a perfect vantage point to watch the sun go down in the evening.
A recently updated family bathroom concludes this unique property.
The house has been completely decorated throughout with brand new carpets, cloakroom and bathroom suites, meaning the new owner can move in with immediate comfort.
The 98' (29.88m) rear garden faces south, basking in sunshine throughout the day and features a 32' x 12' swimming pool.
Ample off-road parking is provided to the front and leads to a detached garage with pitched roof, power and light.
Properties within this cul-de-sac location are highly sought after and rarely found. We therefore advise an early viewing appointment to avoid disappointment. Call the exclusive sole agents, Kent Estate Agencies on 01227 367441 for further information.

What the owner says:
5 Dence Close has been our family home since October 1958 when my parents purchased it after they moved down from north London and wanted to raise their family away from the city. It was a house that was always bustling with activity as they raised their four children in the 60’s.
The rear garden is south facing enjoying suns throughout the day with an amazing suntrap on what we knew as the ‘Lower terrace’ at the rear.
In the hot summer of 1976 (I was 14) our parents had the swimming pool installed, we became the envy of the neighbourhood. Barbeques and pool parties in abundance, during those lazy summer months. But Dad still had plenty of room for his greenhouse, vegetable patch, fruit trees and sheds.
As teenagers we had lovely big bedrooms so we could take our friends upstairs and leave our parents in peace in the two spacious living rooms.
Although a bustling household, it nestles itself right in the corner of a quiet ‘cul de sac’ making it a tranquil location if you like your peace and quiet. We were also spoilt with the amazing sea views from the master and third bedroom. On a clear day one can see Sheppey and even Southend. The pier and clock tower are also easily visible. In the other direction the television mast at Boughton can be observed.
It is time for us to pass 5 Dence Close to new owners. We have all loved the house nicknamed 'SAPEKEME' (The first initials of the four siblings). Many happy years have been spent here with hundreds of memories and stories that will be dear to our hearts.
