Keen to keep a tight mit on your wad? Like to read a description that separates the fresh from the whickety whickety waaah. Fed up with standard estate agent schpiel? Feast your peepers round this:
You know letting fees? Yeah you do… the things that estate agents charge that make your bonce explode with anger. We don’t charge them. Absolutely nuffing. Nada. Rien. Don’t worry. We haven’t prized open the crack of crazy and jumped straight in. We just think it’s the ethical thing to do. We know. Ludicrously dope.
The location of this cracking one bed apartment is brilliant. It’s smack bang in the middle of Walthamstow Village (where everyone wants to be, as if you didn’t already know). Need to get to Central London? Walthamstow Central station is only a few minutes’ walk away. Jump on a tube and it’ll take you rollicking along the Victoria Line and land you at your desired destination.
There’s an abundance of a quirky cafes, bars and restaurants for you to enjoy in Walthamstow Village. We recommend grabbing a swift half of refreshing craft beer from the Queens Arms, enjoying a delicious lunch at Eat 17 (check out the buttermilk chicken burger), or sampling some tasty toasties from the Froth and Rind.
No tenant letting fees. Tick. Location. Mahousive tick. The flat ticks the final box (cringe). It’s on the first floor of a well-maintained private purpose built block. And it’s a decent size as far as one beds go. There’s a cool contemporary feel throughout with the white washed walls that complement the light oak effect laminate flooring.
We love the kitchen and living area. Light floods the room through those double glazed (handy) windows. It’s a perfect space for entertaining guests. It’s a wonderful size, with ample space to arrange the brand spanking new sofas and table and chairs. Check out red brick effect wallpaper on the wall. Very quirky. The kitchen isn’t brand new, but it’s in decent nick and comes with everything you need – electric oven, hob, fridge freezer and washer dryer.
The bedroom is a nice sized double. Just like the living/kitchen area, there’s plenty of space for all the furniture and to still move freely around the room. Note there’s a good quality bed and wardrobe. The bathroom comes with all the essentials and has been well maintained. There’s a bathtub and a shower. There should be good water pressure as the water runs off the boiler.
Apologies for the lack of internal photos. The current tenants are still living there and we’ll be taking some photos once they’ve moved out. Note also that the floorplan is of another property in the same block. But it’s a mirror image of this property.
Once the autumnal leaves have cleared and the winter blues have disappeared, you’ve got access to a large, well-kept communal garden. It’s an ideal place for a bbq and a handy space to dry your clothes. The apartment also comes with off-street private parking. Useful to reduce your car insurance premium.
